My background is in architecture, where I spent years designing spaces for people to live and connect. But I realized that what I truly wanted was to help the Earth itself, to create something that gave back every single day.
After years of saving and planning, I packed my backpack and took off: 18 countries, three continents, mostly by bus. Traveling this way opened my eyes to how beautiful and interconnected our planet is… and how much it needs our care.
During my travels, I noticed how easily the handmade and the natural were being replaced by plastic and mass-produced goods. It made me want to create something that honored nature’s artistry again, something timeless, meaningful, and kind.
That one Question
That question: “What if gift giving could be regenerative?” became the seed that grew into Relaia.
I wanted to create jewelry that embodied my love for design, nature, and purpose. Something that:

Each pair of our earrings is designed and handmade in California using bamboo, one of the fastest-growing, renewable materials on Earth, and hypoallergenic titanium, gentle even on the most sensitive skin (trust me, I tested them all!).
Every purchase helps plant trees, rebuild soil, and support farming communities through our partnership with Trees for the Future. So far, over 39,000 trees (yay!) have taken root and each one began with someone like you.
